“Utor” is the first ceremony in the Catholic weddings in Goa. It is the occasion when an agreement is made and the plans regarding weddings are discussed. The next ceremony is the ‘Ross’ ceremony, marked by the application of coconut juice to the bride and groom. The concluding ceremony in the Catholic weddings in Goa is ‘Bicareanchem Jevonn’ when beggars are served with lunch in the remembrance of dead.
